Hearing Solutions of Arizona is a full-service audiology clinic serving the entire East Valley area as well as the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. With two offices located in Mesa and Tempe, we are proud to serve patients throughout Arizona. It is our mission to provide effective solutions to patients of all ages who suffer from hearing loss, and to provide that care in a professional, personalized setting. We offer diagnostic audiometric testing, aural rehabilitation, counseling, guided selection of hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and in-house cleaning, maintenance, and repair of hearing aids.
Debbie Venkatesh is a Doctor of Audiology and Registered Nurse whose patients range in age from young children to elders. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Venkatesh now lives in Arizona with her husband, with whom she has two grown sons.
Dr. Venkatesh is active in the local community and volunteers for a number of non-profit organizations. Dr. Venkatesh provides educational audiology services for Gilbert Public Schools, as well as hearing aid clinics and aural rehabilitation classes for residents at Friendship Village. She also volunteers her professional audiological services for Arizona’s Community Hearing Aid Program.
Dr. Venkatesh participates in humanitarian medical missions to Ecuador through Amigos de Salud, a non-profit foundation. She organizes and provides audiology services and amplification for Ecuadorian children.
Recently, Dr. Venkatesh evaluated approximately 90 Ecuadorian children during a six-day humanitarian trip with La Fundación El Cielo Para Los Niños. The children came from special schools for the deaf and hard of hearing throughout the country. Dr. Venkatesh secured the help of numerous audiologist colleagues and, through the assistance of Phonak™ and generous individual donations, was able to fit 75 hearing aids throughout the course of the week. Damaged hearing aids were also brought back to Arizona and will be sent back to the Ecuadorian children once repairs are made.
Dr. Venkatesh supervises speech language pathology graduate students and audiology doctoral students in provision of speech, language and hearing screening for Arizona State University’s community outreach program. She also supervises audiology doctoral students attending A.T. Stills University.
She is also president of the Arizona Speech-Language Hearing Association and participates on the state audiology legislative committee.
